Isabel's Birds

Hello Family and Friends:

To honour Isabel, Robin and I have installed a few bird feeders. You can hear the birds singing excitedly in our front yard now. We have three feeders, one with suet. Isabel fed wild birds all her life. She called them "birdy-wurdies". My brother, George told us that during that last week the birds gathered at her feet when he or my sister took our mum to a garden bench at the lodge.

We found a wonderful shop that sells products just for wild birds. It is called "Wild Birds Unlimited". I swear our mother's spirit helped us find the WBU website because the shop is in the vicinity. I never knew about it. It is a U.S. based franchise that has been around for approximately 20 years. The website is:

http://www.wildbirdsunlimited.com/

For our neighbours, the nearest retail location is:

5468 Dundas Street West
Toronto, ON M9B 6E3
Phone: (416) 233-3558
Fax: (416) 233-3293

For those in Eastern Ontario, Quebec and England there is no retail store, but I am sure there are alternatives.

We hope our LSD neighbours enjoy the chirping.

Here's to you Isabel.

Here are pictures of Lake Shore residents of another kind, Spiders. We all live with them on our cars, on our windows, on our railings, and on our chairs. Here is an example:
